Celebrations and traditions can vary worldwide, but in most places, New Year's Eve is probably the largest celebration events of the entire year. For many folks, basically spending the evening with good friends and family is the ideal way to celebrate. While it's definitely a wonderful way to usher in the New Year, there are numerous individuals who like to turn it up a step.

Rio de Janeiro is known as one of the celebration capitals of the world, so you know very well what you're entering into whenever honoring the New Year in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Like Sydney Australia, you will find yourself in the midst of summertime here in Rio, so beachfront events, bikinis, and swimwear could be the standard for the evening, contingent on your selected celebration spot.
